Any ideas?

Where is your favorite restaurant? Where is a chain that makes the best tasting but healthy food?
(Oh and it has to be affordable and not junk fast food...)

Great topic, Basil!

Here's where I'd love to go for breakfast
(But we don't have any in California.... )

I'd go with any of the above for lunch, mmmmm!

And here's my choice for dinner

I would say the 99 here in NY. 2 for 1 beers and their steaks are pretty good.

Basil,I don't think we compute the "Healthy" portion of your question. LMAO

The problem is what you might think is a healthier choice..might not be when eating out. On one of the morning shows this week, they gave many examples, one has stuck in my head.......A personal pan pizza about 7-8in.diameter from the Chicago Uno chain contained the same calories and fat grams as get this....27, yes 27 slices of Papa John's reg. crust fully loaded pizza. That messed with my head. What the heck!

We don't have any of those chains here (other than the one Jim mentioned) in our part of the country.

Now I'm jealous. And hungry.

OK so, realizing it's been 10 years since we've eaten at Applebee's we went there today. My husband ordered the trio appetizer - and loved all three - sliders, shrimp and a Mexican something or other. I ordered the Fiesta Lime Chicken dinner. It was all very good

I will try the Bourbon Street Beef (I assume it's loaded with Bourbon and named after that wild street in New Orleans ; )

Cracker Barrel for breakfast - you bet! I grew up in Tennessee (Cracker Barrel is in Lebanon, TN) and indeed it is true a Country Cookin' place to stop while on the road for a fun meal and break.

I like the salads at Red Robin for sure. Kids love it there too.

We have Chipotles around us, and for "fast food" it is fantastic (hard to believe McDonalds owns it is that true?) Organic this and that, yummy, affordable.
